I wrote this song for my wife. It is about the 1st summer we spent together. A time we shall always remember fondly.
In my younger days I would hang out on Village Creek in The Big Thicket Nat'l Park with my friend, Rusty Richardson. When the wind blows just right and you're in the creekbottom it makes a whispering sound. Rusty would say "there's that ol' whisperin' wind".
This song I wrote after meeting Hayes Karll at the Cheatham Street Warehouse in San Marcus, Tx. I followed him out the door and he was no where to be found!
